Prior to any plan final approval, the Board will send proposals out for Owner comments.
Overview. Both grass areas to the East and West of our pool have a fungus. We have been advised that the "cure" is to remove the sod and some of the soil and replace with healthy soil and sod. However, before we spend money to return to the existing situation, we can take this opportunity to reconsider how to make the best use of the space. A landscape designer can design a plan that would save on future maintenance costs and make the space more usable for residents and esthetically pleasing.
Potential Design Outcomes:
Reduce lawn maintenance costs
Reduce water usage
Add additional social areas
Beautify the area with water smart greenscape (flower beds, etc.)
Add owner gardening area by parking garage wall
Below are a few examples of how a landscape design can enhance the appearance and functionality of an outdoor space. We will work closely with the landscape designer to come up with a plan that is best for our space and then send it out for Owner comments.
