Olmos Tower Common Space Committee Focus now on Guest Rooms
Mission Statement: The Common Space Committee provides input and recommendations to the Olmos Tower (OT) Board regarding additions, upgrades, and renovations to the OT common space.
List of some past projects accomplished: Amenities Added - Dog Run - On site storage - Lobby/Conf Room/Social Area - Pool Cabana/BBQ gas - Auto doors from building to parking garages Infrastructure Upgrades Completed - Building Security system & IT upgrade - Resurface parking lot - Cooling tower and chiller replaced - Building exterior paint - Parking garage gate motor and mechanics replaced
Recent projects completed as a result of the Owners approved (July 2020) a $575,000 loan (paid back over 10 years) for: - Roofs (Parking garage, main building) - Pool (new 15-year surface, replaced all plumbing/electrical, new decking) - Elevators - The lifting mechanical and power components have been replaced. According to Shindler (our Elevator support company) the door motors, although at times a little noisy, are good for another 5 - 7 years.
Owner Approved Projects Ongoing/ Still to do: - Common Area Sprinklers/electrical panel ($100,000) - INFRASTRUCTURE - Guest room renovations ($50,000) - Fitness center refresh ($10,000) - Hallway refresh ($100,000)
